Related: branching / forking of conversations feature request, which would allow for the same result in a different way.

For me personally, this is the ONLY thing that keeps Venice from being perfection, now that full DeepSeek has been added. I’d really like to see editable messages (both AI and user), and that would keep my subscription going for sure. Thanks for your work.

This would be a helpful feature. Would probably require some indication of having been manually edited, so people cannot pretend it was model output.

+1. This is effectively branching/forking but with different user interaction / UI. Does it create a new branch, or throw away the previously generated response? Also see

For my purposes, being able to edit a response and save (overwrite) over it is exactly what I need. I personally don’t need to save the various branches; I just want to make small changes to the AI output and continue on. I’d love to see this.

It’s the only reason I still have a subscription to miniapps - if I could edit with Venice I’d have everything I need.

I vote for this one too. Often in scenario, venice slip some error missing a character feature that was discussed 6 or 7 messages before. This error in now part of the history and it’s painful. Being able to fix the output without completely regenerating it would be a great addition
