Auto chat sync between Android & website

I just lost about 20 chats, a few of which were very important, and I didn't have any local copies yet. I didn't realize it didn't sync between the Android app and the website automatically, so I never ran a manual backup. Therefore, I can't restore those chats through the backup menu, and so they are gone. The most frustrating part is I was working on an important item when the app got a response that the chat generation had failed partly through, so I regenerated and that's when it caused an instantaneous app crash.
