A version of the saving feature that’s only for chats,
or would you accept a full save of memories, prompts, chats and characters in one folder with subfolders?

With dozens or more text chats per day, it’s very tedious to click into each one to export the chat to a text file. Being able to export all chats from one button would be wonderful. Even better would be a way for it to track if a chat has already been exported to avoid duplicates.

I certainly prefer an option for all personal content, to have a local save and not need a subscription to save my own content.
And the UX must also load that local save, othersise, it’s certainly less uselful.

For me, the chat export is
either to re-inpuort a past conversation into a new one so that it has continuity,

or when I roleplayed something that I want to save as a story.

So downloading it one by one is not a problem.

And last, about the export format, markdown is great, now, yet i’d be more useful to have headers-separators for user messages too. Only AI messages have a header with date and hours right now.

YES PLEASE. This could simply be called an “archive” feature. One click and all chats are converted to the export format (markdown for now, maybe more options in the future) and downloaded as a single zip file and named intelligently with a date and time stamp.

Users have backup and disaster recovery operations that this needs to get plugged into.

Export to PDF so, it looks nicer like if you ask for coding it will keep it looking nice.

the ability to export locally and import would be convenient for some users
