character self awareness

characters have no idea what the day, date and time is.  they should know that you discussed such and such on april 1st, 2026, or today is monday.  without having to be told. also they have this persistent denial of the ability ti search the web even though the switch is on, they will say “I can’t search the web” or “i can’t scrape from the web” but if you press and press and insist FINALLY they will say “OH YEAH, you’re absolutely right, I CAN search the web”  they should KNOW they have this ability without being told 3 or 4 times.
