Character Voice Playback Fails After Change on Safari/Mac

I may have encountered a bug while editing characters. When I change a character's voice setting, the new voice selection fails to play back.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Edit an existing character

2. Change the voice from the default selection (e.g., 'Bella') to a different voice (e.g., 'Heart')

3. Click the play button to test the new voice

Expected behavior:
The newly selected voice should play when the play button is clicked.

Actual behavior:
The play button becomes unresponsive after changing the voice. The initial voice works fine before any changes are made, but once I switch to a different voice, there's no audio playback at all.
