Combine credits categories or list them separately

I’ve run into this a few times, where my displayed credits total would cover the generation, but it’s actually split into two categories that cannot be combined. Not knowing why they can’t be combined, I can simply asked that they be combined, but if it’s impossible, can we have a way to view our credit totals by category (or whatever the term might be), so that we can see what we can use for a single generation?
