Feature Request: Cross-Device Content Synchronization
Current Issue: Content created in the Studio app only appears on the device where it was created. There's no way to access this content across multiple devices, which creates a fragmented user experience.
Proposed Solution: Implement optional device-to-device synchronization that would allow users to access their content across all their logged-in devices while maintaining Venice's privacy-first approach.
Technical Approach:
- Peer-to-peer synchronization between devices logged into the same account
- No centralized storage required
- devices communicate directly
- User-configurable option to enable/disable this feature
- Could use technologies like WebRTC for direct device communication
Benefits:
- Improved user experience without compromising privacy
- Maintains Venice's philosophy of not storing user data on central servers
- Gives users control over their synchronization preferences
- Solves the current fragmentation issue
This would be a valuable enhancement that addresses a significant usability issue while staying true to Venice's privacy-first principles.
