Current message disappearing when pressing the stop button.

I find it annoying that the message Im writing to clarify or correct my prompt get erased by my last message after I press stop. It would be better If the message would stay in the chat and be remembered by the model so I could just send my correction or specification right away. Instead I have to write it again or copy paste before pressing stop. Its just unpractical. Thanks.
