DeepSeek Support
Several Users are impressed with DeepSeek R671B capabilities for several reasons. We are always evaluating new models and their capabilities.
We found that most users weren’t leveraging it and so it wasn’t economical to support it via the app, and is still supported in the API. If there is an alternative solution such as:
-A Second tier of pro subscription that gives users access to DeepSeek
-Another model of DeepSeek that is optimized to offer the best possible performance for characters and more.

Absolutely agree. There are no any reasons to continue the subscription without DeepSeek unfortunately. Please reconsider your decision if possible.

DeepSeek R1 671B is very good and more advanced, but I also want to use DeepSeek V3 671B because it has its own advantages over R1, such as being more user-controlled when writing novels

You aren’t! I also believe it is only worth the pro subscription for Deepseek!
Everyone is freaking out in the requests section & still no one is answering us or reassuring us that Deepseek will remain!

Yeah apparently deepseek is also computationally less intensive as it’s an MoE model.

Definetelly a good idea. Would it be possible to enable the reasoning (DeepThink) capability for this model too?

Should replace it with the latest version of Qwen3 MoE which is a lot easier on resources, and PLEASE bring back a decent coding model. So many good ones have come out in the past 6 weeks, Venice is really lacking on that front.
