Both Deepseek models have been web enabled. This is being pushed out now.

This would be a fantastic feature. I have used Deepseek on their website, and search makes a lot of difference. I have asked it to help me solve a professional bureaucracy problem, and it was better than o1. I don’t know what kind of search engine they use.

It would be great if this were possible. In order to make the model search for information on the Internet, I use Llama 3.1 and then switch to Deepseek again so as not to lose context.

No, I’m assuming it will get it at some point. Llama 3.1 405b got it so I can imagine DeepSeek R1 671B will get it as long as people want it.

yes, essential to add web search to DeepSeek, its data is 1.5 years old
