Desktop folder access

Please create desktop-access software that allows me to access desktop folders and work with files such as Word, Excel, and PDF documents. I do a lot of knowledge work, so this would be extremely helpful.

Additionally, if possible, please provide one open-source model that is very inexpensive to run for urgent work involving Excel and Word files. I don't need a high-end model, as my primary focus is working with Excel and Word documents. If there is a lightweight model that can reliably handle these tasks, that would be ideal.

The model should have a very low operating cost so that I can use it throughout the entire month without spending too much.

Can you do this? Please come up with a practical plan for implementing it.
