Every single message you send hits their inference pipeline and costs money… None of it is free. They're not some megacorp subsidising losses with ad revenue or your harvested data.
The free tier isn't meant to be your daily driver. Its just a tester. You get enough to see if the service works for you… which it seems to or you wouldn’t keep using the free tier and now asking for more of it.
The big players with ‘generous’ free tiers are either burning VC cash or extracting value from you in other ways. Venice doesn’t do either.
Venice is a business. Its not designed to be a free service in any way. If you like it that much, then support it by upgrading.
