Input Statement Text-to-Speech for Conversational Accessibility

I would like to request the addition of text-to-speech functionality for user input statements in Venice.ai, similar to the existing "Read Responses" feature for AI responses. This would allow both the user's input and the AI's response to be heard during a conversation.

Use Case:
This feature would be particularly valuable in situations where visual attention is limited or privacy is important, such as:

  • When driving or performing tasks that require visual focus

  • When sharing a conversation with another person using shared earbuds

  • When needing to maintain conversation privacy in public spaces

  • For accessibility purposes for users with visual impairments

Implementation Suggestions:

  1. Add a "Read Input Statements" toggle option in the Voice Settings

  2. Allow selection of a different voice for input statements versus responses to clearly distinguish between the two

  3. Make this feature optional so users can enable/disable it based on their needs

This feature would enhance the conversational experience by making Venice.ai more accessible and useful in hands-free or private scenarios.

Please authenticate to join the conversation.
