LLM upgrades using Venice advantages

I have been reading through the feature suggestions and a common thing people seem to be asking for is a more expansive LLM. This is difficult due to the nature of Venice AI and its selling point being privacy however I believe this could be easily remedied.

In the left task bar with ‘Chat, Feed, Characters’ I believe you should add another option called ‘Public AI’ or something.

This is what I think it should contain:

1.       A landing screen that starts every chat with a warning that this is a public version of Venice AI and that any chat logs can be used for training purposes of your chosen LLM.

2.       Select an LLM

3.       Chat. Basically, the same as Venice rn but it can use the data it gathers in this mode.

4.       Queries. You allow the AI the chance to pose questions to the users on topics or concepts it doesn’t understand.

5.       Public Character training. The AI will be able to look through public character scenes and rp with the user getting feedback on how its doing if its misinterpreting areas of the scene etc.

The selling point of Venice is privacy yes, but Venice has a distinct competitive advantage against other AI models that work on an information theft basis that other AI’s simply cannot compete with and that is Privacy and Characters.

Because other AI’s are stealing your data most people have their guard up against them and are carful about what they share, this isn’t a problem with Venice as a Public chat would be an opt in option the user must choose.

As for characters many users have characters they got from public uploads or created themselves all with their own LLM’s.

Onto the actual meat of my proposal allowing users to opt in and choose an LLM would incentivise creators and users of certain LLM’s to not use this feature as a quick search but actively participate in it because every conversation with the LLM of your choice would directly effect the characters you have created expanding the LLM ethically and if there is a community feed where users can talk they could actively collaborate like ‘Today we are going to talk about Neanderthals’ etc. This could also have the added benefits of competitiveness between users of different LLM’s. Communities with a direct investment in their own LLM’s improvement through their own efforts.

In short people have their guard up against other AI’s, Venice on the other hand could be actively trained by the community to the best of their ability should you give users the option and make it clear to them that this will directly benefit them and their characters so you are much more likely to get in depth conversations where users are trying to actively train the LLM as best they can rather than trolls or half conversations that end when the person gets the piece of info they were looking for.
