Make it so the top voted request are only for this mouth ( or slowly fall downwards)

I see a problem is the requests function. It is stagnant and never changes. Old top requests are the first to be seen and slowly build a like supremacy that makes them impossible to remove and for new more desired currently features to be request or problems to be solved as new ones no matter how popular , simple can't gain popularity fast enough to replace this ancient fossils. So some function to breed life into the system I believe would help show what the users desire rightnow. And as this things are ether already incorporated in some way or the devs have shown little interest in developing them - they just crowd out the space. After all - just imagine the same request for a deep research ai assistant to be there in another year
