Models aren't searching properly

Lately, models haven't been properly researching on the web and are hallucinating badly. When they do manage to look up information, it's often very poor—they simply don't know how to search. One might say, "Use Qwen 3 with reasoning enabled," but no—Qwen is failing too. Moreover, they hallucinate by providing reference numbers for fake links (they didn't search the web but display results as if they did).
