Opt out of all new feature notifications

I am not a fan of being alerted to new feature alerts on my screen. Can Venice please place an Opt-Out of new feature announcements somewhere.

I get Venice wants to advertise new features and maybe enjoy that sweet sweet sponsorship money. The recent “search better with google” popup I just had I found very, did I say very, annoying. I hate google.

It leaves me with distrust and in thought that Venice is now selling itself out. I hope not but its the vibe that it gives. 

I don't need to use it, I do understand the why behind it and if it works for those who want to use it. Great!

While others may be fine with it, for me personally and someone who’s been registered with Venice very early on way before Diem and VVV became a thing, I don't desire to be bombarded by such. I enjoy not knowing of new features.

It makes me lose trust in the system; in the product Venice is creating. It feels invasive. If one now, whats not to say many others later? Is Venice still private is what I ask myself. 

Venice is revolutionary but such is a disappointment if not off putting if each login I am going to get more announcements.

Maybe this is a cry in an echo but please consider adding an “opt-out” notification switch and make me happy again. I love this service. It felt a safe haven before now its starting to not feel such so.

I believe this was first of the kind.
