Option for Always-On Preferences Side Menu for Quicker Access

Description:
Several frequently used configuration controls are currently slow to access, inconsistent in behavior, or hidden behind non-prominent UI elements. This negatively impacts workflow efficiency, particularly for users who switch configurations often.

Requested Improvements:

1. Faster access to system prompts
   Switching between system prompts is currently slow and requires multiple interactions. A dedicated preferences side menu would allow quicker and more efficient prompt changes.

2. Improve Temperature and Top P controls
   Adjusting Temperature and Top P is slow and occasionally buggy. Additionally, the “Lock” functionality does not reliably persist settings, leading to unintended configuration changes.

3. Expose model selection on the main page
   Model switching is a core action and should not be hidden behind a small dropdown. Placing model selection directly on the main interface would significantly improve usability and speed.

Expected Outcome:
A persistent preferences side menu and improved control responsiveness would reduce friction, improve reliability, and support faster iteration for advanced and power users.
