Permanent Highlighting feature

Hello Venice.ai.

I find myself strongly wishing there was a highlighting feature implemented in venice.ai that functioned similar to the following:

1. I can click and drag to highlight passages anywhere in the chats.

2. These highlights are permanently written into the website html (or wherever would be best)

3. I can choose from several colors.

4. The highlights can also be removed as desired.

5. When exporting/archiving chats, if the highlights cannot be represented fully in markdown, then they could be represented as underlined and bolded as a workaround. Also if markdown doesn’t support highlighting then perhaps this is an opportunity for an upstream feature request to update markdown itself because it really should.

6. The highlighted sections would of course then be linked into your context menu that would offer other options like ‘explore further’, or ‘start new chat’, or ‘send to existing chat’, or potentially fancy features like ‘add hashtag’ which would be amazing.

Venice.ai gives wonderful long responses to prompts, and chats grow in lenght. I need to highlight a passage and keep reading to the bottom. There are often several passages I want to highlight and keep track of but by the time I get to the bottom it’s extremely difficult to make my way back to the passages I wanted to come back to.

Please give us a tool to help us navigate our long chats.
