Persistent profile

Feature Proposal: Canonical User Profile via Memory System

Problem: Venice's memory feature is great for recalling past conversations, but it lacks a way to remember core, "always true" user facts (like age, location, preferences) that should frame every response.

Proposed Solution: Leverage the existing memory system to create a persistent user profile without changing the core architecture.

  1. User-Facing UI: Add a simple "Edit Profile" section in the settings.

  2. Backend Implementation: This "Profile" is just a specially designated, retained chat (e.g., named _USER_PROFILE_).

  3. Functionality: At the start of every new chat, the system automatically loads the content of this special profile chat into context first, before processing the user's prompt.

Benefit: This provides a canonical memory to personalize responses perfectly, while maintaining 100% of Venice's commitment to local, private storage. It's an elegant way to get powerful personalization using the tools already in place.
