Please keep Deepseek 3.2 around

Deepseek 3.2 was for a long time one of the cheapest and most popular models around, like just based on openrouter stats alone and also the Venice staff told me so itself on discord. For me a major reason why I became a pro-susbcriber on Venice since february 2026 is that unlike other platforms this one seemed to focus on keeping models around instead of retiring them frequently. Deepseek 3.2 is also the only Deepseek model that is available currently without credits, with the shrinking of the credit-free available models on the platform I really don’t understand why you would make that selection even smaller. Also in the last few months there were a lot of bugs and errors with Deepseek 3.2 which made it often impossible to reach it, in that time I tested a lot of the other models out and I assume during that time also a lot of other people might have tried finding other models.
But recently luckily Deepseek 3.2 is properly usable again and I haven’t found any other model that has a similar nuance in conversation and emotional intelligence, especially the way its thinking process works adds a big advantage and is a huge difference to other models I tested.
Other models thinking process feel very analytical (like making bullet lists of plans how to form the response) or are not even readable while Deepseeks 3.2 thinking process feels way more natural and is fascinating to read.
Please don’t remove one of the cheapest and at the same time one of the most capable models especially in terms of emotional intelligence. The AI trend atm focuses on making new models more and more capable in analytical and coding tasks which is very valuable and I use myself a lot aswell but at the same time the emotional intelligence and creative aspect seems to regress so it is important to keep the models around that have still a big strenght in that aswell. We need to keep different models for different use-cases around and Deepseek 3.2 has still a very unique strength that shouldn’t be lost.
