At least for Venice on Chrome and Android: There is no option to copy-paste and preserve rich text without also copying the Venice tan background and/or losing numbered lists/bullets, bold, italics, etc. (even by using “paste without formatting”, copying via the “copy” icon in Venice, or other types of copy-paste).
The result is that if Venice generates an output such as an email draft or document text, one cannot simply copy-paste it into Gmail, Docs, Slides, or another simple app to get simple black text on white background without losing the key formatting that makes it easily readable. Conversely, if Gemini (within Gemini) or Claude (within Claude) generates a response, one can easily copy paste it into Gmail or Docs without a lot of manual formatting. The irony is that the only straightforward way of pasting Venice outputs into Gmail, Docs, Slides, Word, and other standard apps without the weird formatting is to first run it through Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, etc. with the sole goal of “clean up formatting”—which undermines the entire privacy and anonymity use cases of Venice.
It sounds like a relatively simple fix that was simply overlooked. I mentioned this to support several months ago and they said it’s on the roadmap but I still don’t see a feature request or update that addresses it, so adding one now.
