Preview Clip before committing to using credits.

When generating a clip from either an image or text, it would be helpful if the result first appeared in a smaller preview window. This gives users a chance to quickly assess whether the output aligns with their intent. If satisfied, they could then expand it to full screen, at which point any placeholder credits or overlays would be removed.

This would streamline the creative process and reduce friction for users who may not always express their ideas perfectly on the first try — especially those of us (me) who aren’t professional writers. I've had a few clips turn out differently than expected, and while that’s partly on me, a preview step would make the experience more forgiving and intuitive.

    They’re charging for generation, not for satisfaction. It costs the company money to execute computation of the clip on the servers they rent. By the time you see a clip — watermarked or not, scrunched or not — Venice AI already spent money generating it. That is what they are charging for. It’s not a charge for letting you keep the video or anything like that.

    And no, I don’t believe there is a technology that would allow generating a smaller clip cheaper first — even using the same seed, from all the practice I had with generative neural networks, I’m pretty sure a change of dimensions as generation input parameters would drastically change the output, the clips would be nothing alike and the smaller one would not be representative of the larger one.
