read text directly from PDF

Before I signed up for pro, I asked if the bot could read text from PDF. It said yes. When I uploaded a PDF it said it could not do this.

I would love for this program to be able to read text from pdf, doc, excel, and other programs directly instead of having to copy and paste. Copy and paste has led to formatting errors and invalid results.
