Reasoning/Thinking through Cursor

How to increase the reasoning/thinking of a model? Making it from the default to max. I cannot seem to be able to set or edit that through Cursor after setting the API. Maybe adding separate IDs since Cursor does not support editing of the reasoning/thinking
