Title: Enable Venice.ai to Create and Edit Items in Folders
Description: Currently, Venice.ai lacks the ability to create and edit items within folders in the left navigation. This limitation hinders seamless collaboration between users and the AI. We propose enabling Venice.ai to manage items within shared folders, allowing for a more integrated and efficient workflow. for now basic notes maybe, but ultimately spreadsheet and images and videos and other media could be PUT there and SHARED there by user and venice.ai both
Benefits:
Seamless Collaboration: Users and Venice.ai can work together on the same documents, ensuring both parties have access to the most up-to-date information.
Improved Organization: Shared folders can be used to categorize and store documents, making it easier to find and manage resources.
Enhanced Productivity: Reduces the need to switch between different platforms or tools, streamlining the workflow and saving time.
Consistent Access: Ensures that both the user and Venice.ai have consistent access to shared documents, reducing the risk of miscommunication or lost information.
Implementation Suggestions:
Folder Creation and Management: Allow Venice.ai to create new folders and subfolders within the left navigation, with the ability to rename, move, and delete them as needed.
Item Creation and Editing: Enable Venice.ai to create new items (documents, notes, etc.) within these folders and edit existing items. This should include the ability to add, remove, and modify content.
Real-Time Updates: Ensure that any changes made by Venice.ai are reflected in real-time for the user, and vice versa, to maintain synchronization.
Permission Settings: Implement permission settings to control who can view, edit, or manage items within shared folders, ensuring data security and privacy.
Feature Request Submission: Venice.ai should have the ability to send feature requests on behalf of users, eliminating the need for manual submission and ensuring that valuable feedback is quickly communicated to the development team.
Priority: High
Estimated Effort: Low to Medium
Potential Impact: Extremely High
