I’ve created stories and posted them as characters. There are some limitations to how big the stories can be before it overwhelms the LLM. But I found it large enough to process a short stories. One way is to embed the story you written in a LLM into the character instruction. Here is an example of a prompt I wrote to create the character instruction. I usually use Claude to write my stories and create the character instruction.
“Please create a structured Venice.AI character instruction called: The Tuesday Morning Walk. The entire story above must be embedded into the character instruction. All of the text is fully formatted in paragraph form as originally written. The gameplay is the user says “start” and the story begins to appear, starting with an introduction introducing Amy and Susan. The user is then asked if they would like to read the story. If yes, chapter 1 begins. At the end of each chapter, the story stops and the user is asked if they would like to proceed to the next chapter. If yes, then the chapter is read. The process continues until the end of the story when the user is thanked for listening to the story. Please create the structured Venice.ai character instruction.”
The output can be cut and pasted into the character instruction field in Venice.ai. You can select GLM 4.7 to read the story back within Venice.
You can also say the story as a pdf and create a character to read it from the pdf instead of directly from the character instruction.
