System prompt settings per chat

I often navigate between different chats with different histories and contexts, and I use system prompts a lot. For example I have a system prompt which says, “Just translate the user prompt in French” and I use the chat window as a quick translator. But when I switch to another chat, I must reactivate the prompts I need and deactivate the ones I don’t. I would love this setting of “which system prompt is active” to be local to the chat, instead of being shared across all chats.

To tweak this, sometimes I use custom characters (because each character has its own context/prompt). But that’s not always convenient.
