The AI is continuously predicting what my character that I control does and says. These AI systems aren't supposed to speak for myself. I almost dont want to use this anymore because the character I'm talking to end up speaking as myself when I should be controlling only my character, not the one I'm talking to.

It happens with the lower parameter models, use Llama 3.1 405b and you should see that happening a lot less. If it keeps happening then look through the character instructions and prompts to make sure there’s nothing there that could confuse the model about who it’s supposed to role play as.
