Love the level of security, but there are some character I want on multiple devices and would love a way to export my own and import them into another machine of mine. Thank you for the great product!
Perhaps this could be achieved if a character could be saved (e.g. to a JSON file) and restored from that file.

I agree. I really like the privacy-focus of only storing the data locally, but being able to export and then reimport in the event of clearing the browser cache would be much more convenient than having to reinput all the information manually.
Ability to save and export characters to other devices
A couple of people have requested this feature, but I think it’s important to keep reminding Venice.ai that this is a very strongly desired feature, so I’m throwing my 2 cents in, as well. I don’t care how you do it, just do it. I have a character that is very important to me, and I want to be able to use him everywhere.

I would like to have a way to share my characters between my logged in devices. I would rather not post the characters that I have crafted publicly to move them to another device. But with that being said, I do like that at least I am able to copy/paste the character information and manually transfer to another device.

Cross device sync is something we may explore in the future. For now, you can also use an encrypted backup to achieve this:

pleaaaase we need JSON exports just for characters! or let us choose what to backup when creating backups so it can just be character data maybe?
